How to set up Your City Page
to Be Your Browser Home page

Microsoft IE 4.0
  1. Go to and view the page in your browser that you would like to use as your browser home page.
  2. Click the "View"  drop down menu in browser tool bar
  3. Select "Internet Options" from the menu choices
  4. Click "Use Current" button
  5. Click "Apply" button

Your theme Page is now your home page.

Microsoft IE 5.0 +
  1. Go to and view the page in your browser that you would like to use as your browser home page.
  2. Click the "Tools"  drop down menu in browser tool bar
  3. Select "Internet Options" from the menu choices
  4. Click "Use Current" button
  5. Click "Apply" button

Your theme Page is now your home page.

Netscape Communicator 4.0+
  1. Go to and view the page in your browser that you would like to use as your browser home page.
  2. Click "Edit" drop down menu in Browser tool Bar.
  3. Click "Preferences" from the drop down menu choices.
  4. Click "Use Current Page" button
  5. Click "OK" button

Your theme Page is now your home page.

Older Microsoft and Netscape Browser Users
We realize that it takes a bit of time to download the newer browsers, but we highly recommend that you update from the older browsers to new browsers in order to take advantage of the many new and exciting additions we have planned for 1 America City Home Pages.  These new changes will incorporate many of the latest technological advancements that only the latest browsers will support.

Changing your browser start page / home page does not effect your email or your status with your internet service provider.  It simply provides you immediate and convenient access via a more cosmetically appealing and resource rich browser start page in your browser. 
A  Suggestions from One of Our Users

"Select the City Page that works the best for you as your browser home page since it will  have the resources that you will use the most. In our case that was the Dallas city page.  If you are a IE 4.0 or later user, you can then physically go to the other various category pages that you find most useful and simply drag their address icon out of the URL window of the browser over into your Links area located to the right of the URL window. Now they are but one click way from your browser tool bar. 

"Why did we do this? "

Because it allows us to to return from a surfing session directly back to the source category page with a single mouse click. So if I am reading up on the Dallas Cowboys, I can return to the 1 America Cowboys resource page with a single mouse click from my browser.   It really is like having multiple home pages depending on what we are doing at that moment. We then went in and cleaned house by deleting all of the  sites that came with our browser because they were either not very relevant or were very out-dated.  This made room for us to use several 1 America  category pages.   For example, we have our favorite sports team pages (Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers and Stars) plus the Homework resource page for our kids.

I have to use Netscape Communicator at work and it too will allow you to integrate your  favorite 1 America resource pages.  The only real difference between the two is  that Netscape will place the page link below their URL window in the browser and Microsoft IE will place it to the right of the URL window. In either case, 1 America pages have  made using the internet easy, fast and fun again."
